Governance

The people steering ARPP's mission.

ARPP is guided by a governing body of rehabilitation professionals, educators and parents who volunteer their time to the association's advocacy work.

Leadership

President's Office

ARPP's day-to-day direction is set by its President, supported by a governing body drawn from our professional and parent membership.

"ARPP was founded with the thought of an inclusive society that provides equal opportunity, full participation and protection of rights for persons with and without disabilities."

How We're Governed

A body drawn from our own membership

In keeping with ARPP's founding principle — that the people closest to an issue should help design its solution — our governing body is made up of rehabilitation professionals and parents from within the association.

Rehabilitation Professionals

Special educators, therapists and allied professionals who bring frontline clinical and classroom experience to policy discussions.

Parent Representatives

Parents of children with special needs who ensure that family and lived experience shape every decision the association makes.

Advisory Support

Guidance drawn from allied institutions such as the Rehabilitation Council of India and NIEPMD informs our advocacy positions.
