Who We Are

A movement founded on equality, dignity and shared purpose.

The Association of Rehabilitation Professionals and Parents (ARPP) was founded in 2015 on a simple conviction: an inclusive society is one that offers equal opportunity, full participation and protection of rights to persons with and without disabilities alike.

We bring together special educators, therapists, rehabilitation professionals and parents of children with special needs under one roof — because lasting change happens when the people closest to a problem are the ones designing its solution.

More About Us
Vision

Commitment for an Inclusive Society

A society where every person — with or without disability — participates fully, on equal terms, in education, work and community life.

Mission

Inclusive Education, By Design

To facilitate inclusive education for children with special needs, and to advocate for the trained professionals and policies needed to make it real.

Where We Focus

Six pillars behind every ARPP programme

Every initiative we run — from a classroom in Dwarka to a policy brief in Delhi — sits within one of these areas of work.

Inclusive Education

Facilitating inclusive classrooms and learning environments for children with special needs alongside their peers.

Professional Advocacy

Championing the appointment of trained rehabilitation professionals and special educators in every school.

Policy & Legislation

Advocating for the Rehabilitation Professionals for Disabilities Act.

Family & Parent Support

Bridging the gap between teachers, special educators, parents and policy makers through shared dialogue.

Community-Based Rehabilitation

Developing community rehabilitation centres and early-intervention units closer to where families live.

Training & Capacity Building

Running workshops, seminars and sensitisation programmes for teachers, parents and policy makers.
